Condolence Note

It is with deep sadness that the Graduate Program in Law and Social Justice at the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) receives the news of the early death of Cecilia Caballero Lois, Full Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro ( UFRJ) and CNPq researcher.

Author of a scientific production of unquestionable relevance, Cecilia was one of the pioneers in the study of constitutional philosophy in the country. He supervised dozens of dissertations and theses, being responsible for the training of a generation of university professors throughout Brazil and the world.

In addition to the unique generosity and charisma, Cecilia will be remembered for her activism in defense of human rights and democratic institutions.
